Houston tree pollen drops again but weed and grass continues their steady presence; mold drops too

Pollen:

  • Tree Pollen Total: Decreased by 36% from 132 to 84.

  • Grass Pollen Total: Decreased by 33% from 30 to 20.

  • Weed Pollen Total: Increased by 43% from 14 to 20.

  • Overall Tree, Weed, Grass Pollen Total: Decreased by 30% from 176 to 124.

Mold:

  • Overall Mold Total: Decreased by 13% from 8,731 to 7,559.

Specific Species Changes:

  • Carya (Hickory/Pecan): Increased by 62%.

  • Basidiomycetes: Increased by 28%.

  • Cladosporium: Decreased significantly by 47%.

  • Penicillium/Aspergillus: Increased by 158%.
