First, a quick detour. I’m not entirely certain that the pollen numbers for Friday are accurate. The official update on Houston’s health website is still pending, but I managed to find the page by modifying the URL from Thursday.

Look ma, no Friday!

Assuming I’m correct and not just speculating, cedar pollen is the same as Thursday. But we’re seeing the first signs of alder in a while. Mold has also seen a 100% increase, but it’s important to note that the overall count remains relatively low.

As we approach peak pollen season in February, I anticipate observing lower mold levels and a rise in cedar pollen. I’ll provide the next update on Monday. Take care!
